| Scotland’s haunted landscape reaches from industrial towns and hospital grounds to battlefields and castles recognized around the world. Volume 2 begins in Greenock before moving into the Highlands and the histories of conflict, betrayal and political change that shaped later ghost traditions.
The Greenock stories include Ravenscraig Hospital, the Greenock Poltergeist, Crow Mount and Greenock Town Hall. The journey then turns to the betrayal of Glencoe and Culloden Battlefield, two places where national history and memories of violence remain central to the atmosphere visitors experience today. Stirling Castle and Eilean Donan Castle close the episode with royal, military and domestic legends. The program attributes supernatural accounts to witnesses and folklore while grounding each location in its documented past, creating a distinct continuation of the first Haunted Scotland episode. |
