| South Carolina’s haunted traditions stretch from the Lowcountry coast to the Blue Ridge foothills. This episode deliberately travels beyond Charleston, which has its own Richmond Haunts Media program, to examine smaller communities, schools, plantations, bridges and regional legends.The route begins with Hunter’s Store in Pendleton, then visits Beaufort and Edisto Island. Newberry College, the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind in Spartanburg, and the Tanning Yard at Fairforest connect supernatural reports to educational and industrial history.
