| Florida’s ghost lore extends beyond its famous beaches and theme parks into military sites, restaurants, hotels, museums and places connected with national tragedy. This episode travels from the Gulf Coast and northeast Florida through the Space Coast, central Florida and Miami.
The route begins at Fort De Soto Park near Tampa Bay, Ginger’s Place and the Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Station. It continues to the 1900 Building, formerly the Old Melbourne Hotel, Ashley’s of Rockledge, Hamburger Mary’s in Orlando and the house associated with Ma Barker in Ocklawaha. The final stories visit Apollo 1 Launch Complex 34 at Cape Canaveral, the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, the May-Stringer House in Brooksville and the Phantom Horse of Celery Avenue in Sanford.
