The American route begins with Silver Lake Cemetery, a burial ground now submerged in Bucksport, Maine. It continues to St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans, Colonial Park Cemetery in Savannah, Westminster Hall and Burying Ground in Baltimore, and Bachelor’s Grove Cemetery near Chicago. The international stories come from Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh and the Chase Vault at Christ Church Parish Church in Barbados. Because these are real places of burial, the episode keeps respect for the dead at the center while separating site history from the supernatural traditions that visitors and storytellers have attached to them. |
