| Halifax’s ghost stories are inseparable from its maritime history and the disasters, institutions and communities that shaped the city. This episode takes a closer look at the provincial capital after the broader Haunted Nova Scotia program, with particular attention to the 1917 Halifax Explosion.
The route includes St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Five Fishermen Restaurant, the Grey Nun, Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, Alexander Keith’s Brewery and the Old Burying Ground. Historic homes and inns enter through the Stoddard House, Henry House and Waverley Inn. The final stops include Neptune Theatre, Shirreff Hall at Dalhousie University and Bedford Basin.
