| Haunted-road stories turn repeated journeys into encounters with phantom hitchhikers, mysterious lights and stretches of highway marked by tragedy. This first volume travels from the Chicago area and Scotland to Florida, New Jersey and Virginia.
The route begins with Resurrection Mary, the famous Archer Avenue hitchhiker legend, then crosses Scotland on the A75. Back in the United States, it visits Florida’s Interstate 4 and Clinton Road in northern New Jersey. The final stories are local to Richmond Haunts listeners: the Richmond-area Pocahontas Parkway and Crawford Road in Yorktown. |
