| Part 2 returns to Ireland for a St. Patrick’s season journey through historic houses, castles, islands, theaters and religious sites. The route crosses the west and south of the country, pairing each place’s history with the supernatural traditions later attached to it.
County Sligo contributes Lissadell House, Lisheen House and Markree Castle. The journey continues to Inishbofin Island and Renvyle House Hotel in Connemara, then to Galway City for the theater on Druid Lane, now the Mick Lally Theatre, and the Long Walk. Woodlawn House in Kilconnell completes the Galway portion. The final stories visit Priest’s Leap in County Cork, Spike Island in Cork Harbour and the Glendalough Monastic Site in County Wicklow. The episode keeps historical context separate from reported encounters and folklore while raising a glass to Ireland’s liquid and spectral spirits. |
