| New York’s haunted geography reaches far beyond Manhattan. This episode moves from Long Island and New York City into the Hudson Valley and western part of the state, connecting roadside folklore, Revolutionary-era homes, urban mansions, hotels and private residences.
The journey begins on Sweet Hollow Road in Huntington and at Raynham Hall in Oyster Bay. In New York City, the episode visits Morris-Jumel Mansion and the House of Death. It then travels north to the Shanley Hotel in Napanoch before concluding at the Hinsdale House in western New York. Each stop reflects a different period and setting within the Empire State’s history. The episode keeps documented ownership, architecture and public history distinct from the apparitions and supernatural claims associated with the sites.
