| Ohio’s nineteenth-century growth created inns, theaters, schools, hotels and industrial communities where local ghost stories later took hold. This statewide episode expands beyond the earlier Haunted Columbus program and follows nine locations across the Buckeye State.
The journey begins with Red Brick Tavern in Lafayette and the Ceely Rose House near Pleasant Valley. Dayton provides Stivers School for the Arts, the Amber Rose and Victoria Theatre, while nearby Library Park in Miamisburg adds a public landscape to the route. Cincinnati Music Hall, Hotel Lafayette in Marietta and Rogues Hollow near Doylestown complete the episode. Each story is tied to a distinct historic setting, allowing the program to separate property history and known tragedy from the apparitions and unexplained experiences reported afterward. |
