| Northern New York’s North Country stretches from military posts and St. Lawrence River landmarks to museums, roads and former institutions. This episode returns Chris and Beth to familiar territory for nine stories tied to Watertown, Alexandria Bay, Ogdensburg and Oswego.
The route begins at the Jefferson County Historical Society’s Paddock Mansion in Watertown and Fort Drum, then visits Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay and Isle of Pines near Fishers Landing. In Ogdensburg, it includes the former Academy at Ivy Ridge and the museum now branded as the Remington Museum of Art. The final stops are County Route 57 near Oswego, Fort Ontario State Historic Site and the Francis Marion Brown Theater. |
